Based on the light novels by Yuyuko Takemiya, the story follows Ryuji, a second-year high school student who’s nice, but due to having the eyes of a cold-hearted murderer everyone except his friend Yuusaku thinks he's a bully. On the first day of classes, he literally walks into Taiga; a woman who can only be described as the female reincarnation of, well, let’s say Satan. When he goes back to class, Ryuji sees the desks all messed up; and Taiga rolling out of a locker. He goes to grab his bag, only to have Taiga attack him. At home, he finds an envelope in his bag addressed to Yuusaku from Taiga. Out of nowhere Taiga appears in Ryuji’s house, attacking him for knowing the existence of the envelope. When it’s revealed that the envelope is empty -- and Taiga looking all-so embarrassed for trying out the love letter cliché -- Ryuji shows her a box of stuff he wants to give to the woman he loves; but doesn’t have the balks to confess to. Taiga quickly finds out that Ryuji’s in love with Minori, one of her best friends. In order to keep Ryuji’s secret love from being revealed, he decides to help out Taiga with not just Yuusaku, but also with everything else she needs.

“Toradora!” is a series that, so far, has a good balance of humor and sweetness. Even though Taiga is going to be the type of girl who won’t let her soft side be seen until near the end of the show, it should be interesting to watch as she slowly progresses to being an open person. Ryuji (whose first syllable “Ryu” means “dragon”) is one of the rare leading male characters who looks evil, but is kindhearted in every sense of the word. The comedic action sequences are well-animated, but there are a couple of sketchy corners here and there that the animators could’ve cleaned up with before going to broadcast. Finally, the storyline is well thought-out. Instead of the usual “boy-meets-girl and become lovers,” we have “guy meets cynic and is blackmailed in order to keep his love interest a secret.” It might’ve been done before in past anime, but it’s not that often that we get this sort of treat.

The first episode of “Toradora!” gets an A-. It looks like we’re going to be in for another good romantic comedy this year. Let’s just hope that the writing staff won’t run out of things to come up with; as some other series have in years past.

UVERWORLD

UVERWORLD's 10/1 DVD release rocketed to the top of the Oricon weekly DVD charts, and they've just announced that they will release a new single on November 19th.

The new single, "Hakanaku mo Eikyuu no Kanashi", is also going to be the opening theme song of anime "Kidou Senshi Gundam 00", and is said to have been made with the idea of "love turned to hate in an instant".

HTC Touch DiamondSo HTC has announced another new HTC Touch, the HTC Touch Diamond. Frankly, this is what, the fourth time that HTC had a go at being iPhones main competitor? So, is the fourth time a charm? Lets find out. Just a word of warning to iPhone haters, Im not Apple fanboy, but frankly, HTC is just trying too hard at making an iPhone copycat. Design The HTC Touch Diamond still has the same 2.8 inch screen as other regular PDA phones. What is wrong with upping it to 3 inch, HTC? The design of the HTC Touch Diamond is reminiscent of the Nokia Prism phones, with diamond like patterns on the back of the device. Unlike the iPhone, the HTC Touch Diamond has a circular directional pad, much like the one in HTC Touch Cruise. Since HTC didnt copy the iPhones design right off the bat, I have to give them points for design. The HTC Touch Diamond is one gorgeous, sleek phone. Specifications and Features. The HTC Touch Diamond is a HUGE improvement from other HTC phones. Instead of the usual 400 MHz processor, you will get a Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528MHz processor plus you get a 192MB RAM. Youd think that the HTC Touch Diamonds interface would be faster with the RAM and processor and all, however, the interface is still quite sluggish compared with the iPhone but a much better improvement from the HTC Touch Cruises sluggish interface. The collaboration between Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto — creator of Uchuu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) and Ginga Tetsudou 999 (Galaxy Express 999) — on the 2003 film Interstella 5555 that accompanied the French bands hit album was a notable case of the relationship operating the other way round, with the animation providing what basically amounts to a promotional video for the album. The choice of Matsumoto, whose style is powerfully evocative of the late 70s and early 80s, fits in with the retro musical references of the album, and no doubt brought a rush of nostalgia to many who watched it.

This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.

Summary/Review:
CASSHERN Sins starts its first episode off with Casshern saying, "Luna, I will kill you". The opening that follows is very dark and mellow, where some of the main characters are just posing and moving sideways. Lyuze, Casshern, and Ringo are more prominent. It turns out that the big boss guy's name is
AIKING and not "
EAKING", and he appears right after the opening sequence stops. He gins from under a hood saying, "The destruction will never stop after Casshern killed Luna" and then sends his minions (robots/biorobots) at him. Casshern is seen fighting a giant scorpion-like robot and crushing it to bits. Lyuze shows up teasing him saying, "A person without a will becomes weak?" and then disappear. Casshern becomes sentimental and gets a mental breakdown and disappear as well. We are cut to Ringo and her father in a van, driving away. It is still night time. The Braiking Boss says "The destruction has already started, it won't end by [the robots] eating Casshern". He then says to Ringo's father (doesnt seem like it anymore), who's van is parked nearby, "Casshern is awake, your business might boom as a result."

Now we see Ringo running near a dimly lit (I guess its daytime) lake, where Casshern sits, lost in thought. She exclaims, "beautiful" at Casshern's face. She asks if he is a human, he asks what humans are, she replies she has never seen one, but if he were one, they must be beautiful. She says her name, and Casshern seems to hesitate when saying his own name. Ringo plays with seashells in a very comicized animation. Casshern looks over her. Casshern asks if she's a robot, she says yes, and that because of the Destruction, she'll rust if its not for Ouji (I guess its a father-turned-mechanic). She asks what "destruction" is, and again praises how shiny Casshern is. Casshern says she's not rusty or ugly. Ringo hugs him and runs away. There's a flashback where Casshern sees Luna. He suddenly becomes afraid for Ringo.

Just as Casshern predicted, a giant robot catches Ringo, and tries to crush her. Casshern arrives when Ringo's metal head was being cracked open. He tells the robot to let go, the robot realizes its Casshern. The robot says he doesn't believe the rumor that eating Casshern can stop the Mass Destruction (yeah gotta give it some name), but is still very jealous of Casshern's body. Casshern's eyes flash a blue color, and his mask appears on his face, and he assaults the giant robot with agility and a haunting demeanor (like a ghoul in a fantasy RPG game), eventually making a hole in the robot's body, taking out all the electrical chords (organs) and destroying it. Ringo says, "don't" while all of it is happening, and becomes scared of Casshern. Casshern snaps out of his special combat phase and was confused. Ouji appears and picks up Ringo. Lyuze shows up again and comments on Casshern's bloody killing technique. Casshern asks if she knows about his past. She tells him he's just a killing machine, that because he killed the Lunar (Luna) sun, the Mass Destruction started. She says the world has died, and flashes out a weapon-like thing with her left arm. They seem to be at a stand-off, when the ending theme starts.

No much idea about the plot, because I only found one line about its story:
A sudden advent of an enigmatic creature pushes the world and our young heroine, Yuki, into the realm of surreal.
So it seems like a supernatural sci-fi movie/ova with some creature that I'm not sure if it'll save or destroy the world. The leading guy is either helping it or controlling it and the leading girl got involved somehow.
Speaking of the leading guy and the creature . . . on a certain scene *points first screenshot* they reminded me so much of Natsume and Nyaanko-sensei of Natsume Yuujinchou xD They don't seem to go tsundere on each other though xDLOL! Oh kyaaa!!!I'm so delighted xD
It's not yet that certain if it's a movie or an OVA. It would be cool as a movie. But if as an OVA, I don't want it to last for just one episode that is around 30 minutes in length x_x . . . NOTENOUGH! xD And hhhmm . . . I think it would also be cool as a series.

As a new feature, each Wednesday or so for a while Im going to start doing some Top 5 lists, starting with the top 5 anime opening themes.
Well over a thousand anime series have been released over the years, each one with a different theme song, and some with more than one over the years. However, most are mediocre at best, so I took it upon myself to compose a list of what I consider the best 5 anime opening themes of all time. This list was hard to do; I ended up having to cut a few songs I loved that just werent as good as some of the others, including The Cruel Angels Thesis, Cutey Honey, and a few others. So, without further ado, heres my list of the top 5 anime opening themes.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai took the fledgling anime franchise in an iffy new direction, abandoning the first seasons horrific tension in favour of a largely tedious story based entirely upon the premise of taking everything that was mysterious and creepy about the first season and explaining it in as boring and tedious a way as possible. However, despite the animes decline in quality from a storytelling perspective, Eiko Shimamiya outdid herself with the Higurashi Kai opening theme. One of Ive Sounds best theme songs, and a perpetual favourite.

Do you know how many Death Threats I will get if I did NOT put this as #1? Cowboy Bebop is really the first anime show you KNOW is on, because of the intro. You here the first 3 seconds and you know what the show is. What the show is about, and best of all THERE WAS NO LYRICS! (okay 31 Lets Jam, but for the sake of this list, well say No Lyrics)
Its the best Anime Opening you can find, there is so many things to like about this. Hell when I was in High School, the Jazz Band was actually practicing playing this song (but the music teacher decined to play it in concert) If there is one anime series that everyone can agree had a catchy, addictive, fun, and awesome theme song, it would have to be Cowboy Bebop. Accept No Subsitutions

FULL METAL ALCHEMIST
Why did I NOT put this theme song up here? Even though this was one of the few Animes to keep its theme song from the opening. It lacked any , it was mostly just Edward and Alphonse running around. Ending with that awful face. Its a great theme song, but the intro bores me with that song.
NARUTO
Probably going to be the number one request WHY NOT NARUTO? Simply because there is so many intros of Naruto. I really do lack the time and patience to sit on my ass, browse YouTube, and look for as many Naruto intros as I could find. I also blame AMVs for costing me valueable time in making this list. So screw you Narutards who happen to have been reading this.
SAMURAI CHAMPLOO
I enjoyed Samurai Champloo, but in terms of intros, it kinda doesnt have that spectacular of an intro, it concludes with a spinning vinyl and it cuts. They never heard of Fade Out? Give me a break.
NEON GENESIS EVANGELEON
Okay, the honest answer to that was, I could not STAND the intro to Neon Genesis Evangeleon, out of all the anime series I watch, there is only a few anime shows I cant watch simply because of the intro.

1.  In a stock pot (or similar size pot) over medium-low heat, place a couple of tablespoons of oil (olive or vegetable) in the pot along with the chopped veggies and garlic, cook until tender.
Note:  If you see browning, your heat is to high, turn it down.
2.  Once the vegetables have cooked remove from the pot and bring the pot to medium-high heat.  (This takes about 2-5 min depending on your stove) 
3. Cube the pork (or slice anyway you desire) and place in the pot to brown.  Once browned return the vegetables, and add the chicken stock to get all the little brown bits from the bottom of the pot (remember to stir).  Bring to a boil, once boiling add the noodles and cook until the noodle are done (Shouldnt take that long keep an eye on it.) Serve hot.
Serves about 4 (depending on whose doing the eating.)
For beverages serve your favorite refreshments, beer works well, but so does soda, green tea, juice or whatever.
