The First was a comic book series released back in 2000 from the now-defunct CrossGen Comics. Although I read other CrossGen comics before this one (most notably Mystic), I was drawn in by the insanely muscular men that populate the series.
Bart Sears did the pencils for this series. The scans in today's post come from issues 2-5 and they are scans I did myself. As a side note, if you want to use any scans I did for HFG on your own site, you're welcome to. Credit isn't needed.

Well, after reading a couple of chapters of the Kiss x Sis manga series Ive decided review the Kiss x Sis OAV. First let me start off by saying that since this is a OAV release I thought that normal anime TV content rules wouldnt apply so I thought that the fanservice would be much higher than normal. But to my surprise, other than the two incidents of morning wood, the fanservice was a lot lower than I thought it would be, many current TV anime series have a greater level of fanservice than this OAV did. I really dont mind fanservice in anime as long as it makes sense in the context of the story and it makes sense to be there (unlike in the H2O series where a girl falls on top of a blind guy with her pantys in his face).
Overall, I found Kiss x Sis to be pretty standard fare for this genre. Generally, in the sis-con or brother-con genre, the stories in this genre usually has the out that the brothers and sisters are really not related by blood so they avoid the incest taboo (a true incest anime/manga would be Koikaze or Angel Sanctuary). Even in a true hentai anime series such as Cream Lemon where Hiroshi, and sister, Ami actually have sex its later found out that they are not really related by blood, but its still pretty creepy since they grew up together defying the Westermark Effect. Where Kiss x Sis differs from the norm is that the sisters are older than the brother (its usually the reverse), and that the sisters are open to their parents about their towards their brother. Whats also pretty unrealistic that the father would tell his son that its OK to hook up with his because theyre still girls after all.
So, if your interested in a unrealistic but funny sexual tension farce geared towards high school aged guys then go ahead and watch this OAV series and get a good laugh out of it, because its really pretty harmless. But, if your looking for something much more serious dealing with the consequences of a brother sister relationship then watch Koikaze, and if your looking for something in the hentai genre (only for those older than 18) then watch the Ami episodes from the Cream Lemon series if you can find them.

or maybe because I love Predator so much and a Dutch figure is something I never thought Id ever see. This thing is like flapjacks on ice. Whats even better is that if you got one, you could pretty much customize him to be any of Arnolds roles from his vast action film library. John Matrix from Commando? Check. Ben Richards from The Running Man? Check. Howard Langston from Jingle All The Way? Double check!
If you think a Dutch character is cool, theres a Billy that looks like hes on his way too. Billy is the stereotypical Native American that lasts about five seconds against the Predator and dies horrifically off screen. Way to go on that one, Billy.

2008 Comedy PG-13
This movie was done by the same people who did Shawn of the Living Dead and Hot Fuzz. While this movie is not as fast paced as its predecessors, it still delivers as many laughs as the first two. Besides the laughs, this movie delivers a few warm moments, which the actors carry off wonderfully. The main character of this movie, Dennis, is a man stuck in a dead rut after he left the women he loved at the alter. In a final, desperate attempt to win her back, he decides to run a marathon. Various problems come up, with him being in as good of shape as a deflated basketball. This is definitely one of the best comedy movies of the year. I give it four out of five stars.

(*sigh*) Anyhow... Eric was actually discovered by a photographer while shopping in a mall (I'd imagine of course he turned quite a few heads in the process). Considering he already had both the look and the body, he was of course a natural talent for modeling. After taking part in a couple outstanding photoshoots (i.e. like the ones you see before you) he ended up being signed at Ford (his most current agency).
