Kim Jung-hwa (born September 9, 1983) is a South Korean actress and model. She had her debut performance on a music video, You To You (Lee Seung-Hwan, 2000). She was picked from the streets when some producer saw her and asked is she interested in being an actress. She was also a model in a modelling agency, Dream Factory from year 2002 to year 2005 and present she is modelling in Sidus HQ modeling agency.

She is known to have formerly dated Jo In-sung, who she'd played with on a 2002 Korean sitcom Nonstop(MBC), and maintains that they are still good friends.

BoA, 21 who is named Kwon Bo-a, has already conquered Japan and her home country with her high-powered dance music and is trying to be one of a slew of Asian stars looking to make it big in the United States.
I successfully made it in Asia, so I hope to show more of BoAs songs and performances to more people, she said in an interview last week with Reuters Television.
But some of Asia biggest music stars, such as Japans Hikaru Utada, a fluent English speaker whose music embraces RB, have only had minimal to moderate success in the U.S. market.
BoA, who is fluent in Korean and Japanese and also sings in English, entered the music world at 13. The waif of a woman pitches products across Asia, where her face adorns billboards in Beijing and Bangkok.
Her debut single is called Eat You Up and was made with a producer who worked with Spears.
Now is the right time because the perception about Asians is dramatically changing and Asians are seen with great interest in the United States, BoA said.

Having conquered the Japanese pop world, Asian pop sensation BoA is now setting her sights on the worlds biggest music market the United States.
The 22-year-old Korean singer held a press conference with the slogan Best of Asia, Bring on America! in Seoul on Wednesday (Sept. 10) to announce her planned U.S. debut, presenting a blueprint for her work in the United States alongside foreign staff responsible for her Stateside promotion.
The slogan Best of Asia, Bring on America was inspired by BoAs initials.
BoAs management agency SM Entertainment said BoA will make her debut and officially release an English-language album in the United States.
Her U.S. debut song, which will be released to the public next month, was played at the press conference.
